| FIELDSEND BED & BREAKFAST is in the small village of Langton Matravers in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck – an area known for its high sunshine ratings and the spectacular scenery of the Jurassic Coast. The village is home to a lively and friendly community and boasts two pubs, a post office/general store and even a small museum.
As the name suggests Fieldsend is the last house in the road. In a quiet, south-facing position overlooking open fields it is still only a few minutes walk from the village shop for your morning paper.
We also have a smallholding which despite being a little way from the house shows it’s face in the b&b. Tracey uses the wool from our flock of naughty Shetland sheep for spinning, felting and weaving. David turns the fruit and vegetables into jams and pickles which will appear on the breakfast table.
Our sunny position allows us to grow a lot of chillis and we specialise in very hot pickles – taste at your peril!
